These services are dedicated to helping every individual find a place of comfort that is their own. They understand the difficulties that can arise, and they are dedicated to helping you succeed all around. These services provide individual or family housing that can be temporarily or indefinitely. Above all, they are committed to helping every resident acquire the basic skills and opportunities to regain a sense of security and safety.

Muncie Housing Authority

The Muncie Housing Authority provides affordable public housing for individuals or families in Muncie. Eligibility is based on income and often geared more towards families and elders.

The Muncie Mission

The Muncie Mission is in connection with emergency shelter and transitional living for women and men. Individuals are connected to case managers to begin a life in a safe environment. 

YWCA Central Indiana

The YWCA offers temporary shelter options for women and children in need of shelter. They are dedication to empowering women and elimination racism.

Bridges

Bridges Community services provides affordable and permanent housing to low income individuals and families. They help residents maintain living goals and direct them on the path of becoming homeowners.

A Better Way Muncie

A Better Way Muncie, provides shelter and services for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, a walk-in Rape Crisis Center, advocacy, individual trauma-informed counseling, support groups, transitional housing, and 24-hour crisis line for persons in any type of crisis. Safe shelter is provided 24/7 to victims of domestic violence / sexual assault and their children, for up to 45 days, during which they will set and work toward goals leading toward more peaceful lives. The shelter can accommodate up to 25 individuals.

This government site is directly linked to resources in Indiana. It includes various divisions for re-entry such as vocational opportunities, adult education, and more. The programs are widely available to individuals in Indiana and regularly updates the site for programs and opportunities.

Partners in Housing

This website might be able to help those who live in Marion County or surrounding counties find homes. It offers other services, like supportive housing- which helps navigate the transitions.

Fair Housing Center of Central Indiana

They are a non-profit organization based in Central Indiana and their mission is to ensure that equal housing opportunities are given to everyone.
